Island Paradise: DevKris Ch. 01 "If yew vant to know about da luteing process, I vill be more dan happy to tell yew ALLLLL about it," Kristanna said to an unknowing Ashley (using her Norwegian accent), as the two of them, along with Devon and yours truly, were relaxing by the outdoor pool on this warm Tuesday evening. "Lutefisk is air-dried cod, soaked in a lye solution for two veeks. Den yew skin, bone and broil da lutefisk. It be delicious!" Devon clutched her stomach and made a face. "Uhh... I think I just lost my appetite for dinner." She giggled and looked at Ashley. "Krissy will brainwash you, honey, if you let her. Don't listen to her about her crazy Norwegian food. You don't want lutefisk... trust me on that." She shook her head and laughed again. "You'd smell it from a mile away..." "But I love cod," Ashley countered, which brought a smile to Kristanna's face. It was as if Kristanna suddenly had a new victim in her sights. It was quite funny, actually. "You don't want any lutefisk," Devon insisted. "If you go to a supermarket that has Norwegian food, the lutefisk looks like a petrified fish sitting in a jar of murky liquid." She vigorously shook her head. "I don't know how Krissy eats it." "It be delicious!" the bubbly blonde exclaimed. "Yew yust do not know vat is good for yew, Devvy." She turned toward Ashley once more. "I am getting Harold and Juanita to fix up fiskepudding for my dinner dessert tonight. Yew vant some?" This time, Ashley made a face. "Fiske... pudding? Fish?" "What sane person eats fish pudding?" Devon wondered. "I am gonna get yew one day, Devvy," Kristanna warned her. "One day, I vill get Harold and Juanita to fix NUDDING but Norvegian food for dinner." She began to tilt her head from side-to-side with the naming of each dish. "Lutefisk, lefse, fiskesuppe, fiskepudding, pepperrotsmor, potetboller..." She paused, her expression suddenly glowing. "And vat dinner is truly complete vidout a good helping of rodgrod med flode?" "OH MY GOD," Devon huffed, her eyes cast downward. Ashley appeared confused, which was understandable. "I think I'll pass on the lutefisk, Kristanna." She must have been using Devon's reactions as a guide. "I guess maybe I should stick to American food. That's what I'm used to." "You're a smart girl," Devon told her, as Kristanna folded both arms and looked on in (mock) anger. "Ashley... your ice cream is ready," came a voice from inside the mansion. We turned and found Torrie at the big sliding glass door that led out here to the pool area. She had her head peeking out from around the corner of the door. Ashley smiled at those words and waved good-bye to Devon, Kristanna and yours truly, then turned and scampered toward Torrie. Soon, the two ladies walked off arm-in-arm. "No one wants to try your crazy food!" Devon said to Kristanna, albeit in a playful fashion. "You have eaten lutefisk before," the Norwegian countered, her voice back to normal. "You even said you liked it." Devon giggled. "That was a moment of weakness." Kristanna pointed toward Devon's stomach. "Baby DevJer in there will LOVE lutefisk! He or she will grow up on it!" "Over my dead body!" Devon growled. Kristanna shook her head and laughed. She loved to get animated reactions out of people - especially Devon and me. "You do not know what is good for you, Devvy. Look at me." She trailed both hands down the front of her lean, athletic body. "5-foot-11, 115 pounds. Fit as can be. Look at all of the fish I eat. Norwegian food is based on fish, whereas American food is based on red meat. I eat healthy." "You're fit as can be because you spend hours at a time jogging and doing aerobics," Devon told her. "You don't think my diet has anything to do with it?" Kristanna asked. "It has a lot to do with it." Devon folded her arms and offered an impish expression. "I'm 20 pounds lighter than you. So I eat right, too." Kristanna laughed. "You're 20 pounds lighter because you hardly eat anything at all. Plus, you're a good eight inches shorter than me." She moved up in front of Devon, then glanced down at her. "You little squirt." Off to the side, I shook my head and laughed at their playful exchange of words. "You girls could be comedians," I told them. "Just go back and forth like you always do... you would make a lot of money. A whole lot of money." Kristanna smiled. "The only way Devvy knows how to make money is to take her clothes off." "I was a stripper for just a few years," our beloved wife defended herself. "After I received enough schooling, I was a dental assistant. I liked that job, too." "Did you give the dentist and patients lap dances while they were in the examination chair?" Devon playfully smacked Kristanna on the shoulder. She then made a fist and waved it about before her face. "You're gonna get it one day, Krissy. I swear, you're gonna get it." Kristanna extended both arms in a defensive stance and began hopping around like an expert in karate. "Anytime you want, Devvy, I'll be ready for you. Come get some, squirt." Kristanna was - believe it or not - a black belt in Aikido. Thus, Devon wanted no part of her. Neither did I, for that matter. My own wife could beat the living daylights out of me if she ever saw fit. But Kristanna was not that type. "Why don't you two girls kiss and make up?" I suggested. "That's the best idea I've heard thus far today," Devon cooed, wrapping her arms around Kristanna's body and then planting a deep, sensuous kiss upon her lips. I stood back and smiled at their exchange of tongues as Kristanna slid her left arm around Devon's shoulder and held her tightly. Their kiss lasted for at least 30 seconds. "Did you have a good time with Jenna and Cassidy?" Devon smiled in response to Kristanna's question once their lips had finally parted ways. "Yes, I did. I heard you had a good time with Jeremy and Lisa, too." "Jeremy sure is one lucky stiff," Kristanna grinned, her eyes glancing my way. "Eight women here, and only one man." Perhaps, I said inwardly, but I was really only interested in two of those women. That should be fairly obvious by now. "Jenna and Cassidy are really into each other," Devon told us. "They were going at it like wild animals up at the lava beds. I just sat back and watched them for a long time... it was so intense, and hot. I got in on some of the fun, too. Did either of you watch us with the voyeur room?" "Jeremy and I played around in the grotto all day," the quirky blonde answered. "We were too busy for eavesdropping. I'm sure that we can check out the archives later, though." Devon smiled and offered a strange expression. It seemed as if a light bulb had just popped on within her head. She looked at both Kristanna and I, her face glowing. "Hey, do you think that Ashley got an ice cream with a cherry on top?" "A cherry?" Kristanna squealed. "Somehow, I don't think the cherry on her ice cream is the cherry you want." Devon smiled. "I want to pop Ashley's cherry! I've never been with a virgin before. Ashley is my last chance for it." I shook a menacing finger at her. "Remember what I told you last night, Devon. You will only take Ashley's virginity if she gives it to you. I don't want you to force or prod her in any single way." I paused and added, "Besides, I am hoping that Ashley's first time is with Torrie. The two of them seem to have the potential to be a really nice couple." "_I_ am hoping that Ashley's first time is with ME!" Devon reiterated. "I think that she is such a sweetheart." "I agree with Jeremy," Kristanna mused. "I hope Torrie has her first." Kristanna smiled and wryly added, "But if not Torrie, I hope Ashley's first time is with me! ME!" "Maybe you and I could have her in a three-some," Devon suggested. "What do you think about that, Krissy?" "You two girls are terrible," I laughed. "Just terrible!" * * * After dinner concluded that evening, and I had finished washing the dishes, several of the ladies asked me to treat them to a showing in the IMAX movie theater. With a 5-1/2 story tall screen enhanced by 12,000 watts of wrap-around digital sound, the IMAX movie theater here on the island offered a powerful viewing experience. Unfortunately, we only had a couple of movies in the IMAX format. Devon and Kristanna suggested to the others that we watch a film called "Hidden Hawaii", which lasted 35 minutes. It was their favorite of the features we had available, and all of our guests came away from the showing quite impressed. With the time now approaching 9:00pm, Jenna and Cassidy decided to call it a night. They had been through a rather eventful (and erotic) day with Devon at the lava beds, and spent time frolicking together at the indoor pool upstairs before dinner-time. Both of them, I figured, were tired. Shortly thereafter, the others retired to their guest suites as well. I spent some time in the voyeur room, curious to see whether or not Ashley and Torrie would become intimate with one another. Once it became apparent that was not in the cards for tonight, I exited the voyeur room and returned to Devon and Kristanna in our personal suite. An hour or so later, the three of us were sleeping. * * * Sipping a glass of orange juice at the picnic table just outside the mansion, I leaned back within my chair the next morning and smiled at the lovely group of Mindy, Lisa, Jenna and Cassidy. All four ladies had been engaged in a rather lengthy discussion about the island, as well as the following eight weeks, with me once our breakfast meal was complete. "Devon Falls is probably the most stunning and picturesque location the island has to offer," I told them, in response to a question from Jenna. "It's a waterfall and, obviously, is named after Devon. It's a good hike from here, but I would be more than willing to be a tour guide for anyone who is interested in going there." "Devon was telling me something about Devon Falls," Lisa commented. "She said the water there has mythical powers." I chuckled at those words. "Perhaps. A hundred years ago, there was a tiny village on this island. The people who lived here - whenever someone was sick or injured - they would take them to this waterfall, and they believed it aided in their healing. I've done a lot of research and heard all of the legends. The water has sort of a reddish tint, and that is one reason why the islanders back then believed it had healing powers." "Is there a reason why the water is red?" Jenna asked. "It's a very technical reason," I advised her. "It is because of the iron oxide in the volcanic soil that flows down from the mountain. A scientist told me that once." "Iron oxide?" Mindy countered, confused. "That's way beyond my comprehension," Lisa giggled. "If you call it perhaps the most beautiful place on the whole island, I would love to go there," Cassidy chimed in. "Is the water safe to go into?" Mindy wondered. "Of course it is," I answered. "How can the water heal you if you don't go in it?" Lisa snickered. "God, Mindy. Use your brain!" "What other places interest you on the island?" I smiled at Cassidy. "Everywhere, really. There are big tide pools on the east side of the island, and a group of sea lions live there. Devon and Kristanna love to go to the cliff that overlooks the tide pools, and watch the sea lions. I love it, too. We have picnics there. Plus, the island has several other waterfalls, valleys, a big forest, even a little desert. And lava beds, too." "The lava beds are beautiful," Jenna commented, glancing around at everyone. "Devon took me and Cassidy there." "You're so lucky, Jeremy, to live in a place like this," Lisa mused. "It must have cost you a fortune to buy this island." She shrugged her shoulders. "I love it here." "Just about everyone who has ever stepped foot here the past seven years has said they love it," I told her. "Are there any good waves?" Jenna asked me. "I'm really into surfing, you know. I love to surf." "Some of the waves on the south beach can reach 15 or 20 feet this time of year," I told her. "Oooooh!" Jenna squealed. "That sounds promising." "Those are really high," Cassidy observed. "I can handle it," Jenna assured her. "I've been surfing up and down the California coast since I was a little kid." "There is a cove on the northwest portion of the island where a group of sharks live," I said, which caused several eyebrows to skyrocket. "They are white tipped reef sharks, which generally, will not go after humans unless provoked. Still, I don't want anyone to go in the water there. That beach is off-limits, and there are markers there saying so. We have not seen sharks anyplace else here except that cove." "My uncle is a volunteer at an aquarium in San Francisco," Cassidy offered. "He and another guy dive into the big shark tank twice a week to clean the bottom of it. He has never had a problem with any of the sharks in it. Of course, all of them are well fed each day, and are not considered dangerous. There are no killer sharks in that particular tank, too." "You could never pay me enough money to go diving in a shark tank," Mindy huffed. "Whether they are well fed or not, never. Not in a gazillion years." "I've always been afraid of the ocean, and what is in it," Lisa said. "I think I'll stick to the pools and waterfalls. I do like the beaches, though. They're good for relaxation. But I'm not sure about the water. I'm afraid of it." "I grew up on the beach," Jenna told her. "I love the ocean. I once went diving near San Diego, and there were a bunch of sharks around. They didn't bother us at all." "The only beach where I live - Cincinnati - is a big waterpark called The Beach," Lisa countered. "It's actually not a beach at all, but that is what it's called, anyway. I get season passes to go there with my family each summer." "Do you ever go diving?" Jenna asked me. I nodded at her. "Devon, Kristanna and I all go diving. If you're an experienced diver like it seems you are, Jenna, we can take you on the boat one day for a dive session." "I would LOVE that!" Jenna exclaimed. I smiled at Jenna, then turned my attention toward the entire group. "If any of you want, as I said, I can take you on a hike up to Devon Falls. Bring your swimsuits and snorkels. It's a lot of fun up there." "When can we leave?" I looked at my wristwatch. "An hour from now, at noon. That will give all of you time for your stomachs to settle down from eating breakfast. How does that sound?" "Noon it is," Cassidy nodded, grinning. "Excuse me for a moment," I said to the gathering, as my cellular telephone suddenly rang. I yanked it from my belt and unfolded the device. Was it Devon or Kristanna? "Hello?" "Hi Jeremy," came Devon's voice through the receiver. "Where are you now? I gotta talk to you about something." "I'm out back at the picnic table with Mindy, Lisa, Jenna and Cassidy. We're all having a good discussion." "I gotta talk to you about something," Devon reiterated. "What is on your mind?" "Not over the telephone," she informed me. "I'm in our room right now. Would it be possible for you to come up here and join me? It is really important." My eyes narrowed. "Is everything okay?" "Yeah, everything is fine. I just wanna talk to you." "Where is Kristanna? Is she okay?" "Kristanna is fine, Jeremy. Last I heard, she was with Torrie in the exercise room. There is something important I want to talk to you about. I want to show you." Devon paused and added, "Please? Please come to our room, Jeremy. You'll thank me when you get here." "Well... okay," I relented. "If you say so, princess. I'll be there in a couple of minutes." "Thank you, Jeremy! I love you." "I love you too. See you soon." "Bye..." I took a deep breath while clipping the telephone back onto my belt. "I'm sorry, ladies, but please excuse me for now. I need... Devon asked me to come see her. Whenever one of the wives need me, I must oblige, you know." "Is our hike up to the waterfall still on?" Cassidy asked. After a brief hesitation, I nodded my head. "Of course. If not at noon, perhaps at one or two o'clock. I'm not sure what is on Devon's mind right now. Whatever the case, I'll find all of you soon enough, and we'll go on the hike. All of you want to go, right?" The four ladies nodded. "Good." After bidding farewell to the assembled group, I downed the last of my orange juice and then ventured back into the mansion. What did Devon want to talk to me about? Needless to say, I was very curious about the answer to that question. She needed to talk to me in person, too - and not over the telephone. That alone set off a red flag within my head. I did not run, but I moved along at a rather brisk pace as I made the long trek to our personal suite on the upper level. With each step, my curiosity increased ten-fold. A certain level of anxiety was gaining steam inside of me, too. Despite Devon's assurances otherwise, I legitimately wondered if something was wrong. Was our unborn child okay? Once I finally reached the suite and opened its door, however, my jaw literally hit the floor. Of all the things that I suspected could be on Devon's mind, this was not even on the radar. But it was the most arousing, and shocking. * * * "Hi Jeremy," Devon cooed, her expression golden. "It's about time that you showed up!" Lounging about upon the big bed, Devon was stripped all the way down to her yellow bra and G-string. Her luscious, shapely figure was on total display, and the smile upon her face was most inviting. For as beautiful and stunning as Devon was, however, her body was not what garnered most of my attention. It was the young woman sitting next to her. "Hi Jeremy," Ashley gently murmured, waving her right hand at me. My eyes wide, I openly gawked at the precious 18-year-old as she relaxed upon the mattress with Devon, a thin, oversized night-shirt covering her nubile young form. My heart began thumping wildly in my chest as I debated whether or not Ashley was still a virgin. Had Devon's wicked little fantasy come true? Had she popped Ashley's cherry? Even more importantly, was Ashley a willing participant during every step of the way? By saying that, I am not implying that I believe Devon would force herself on Ashley. Devon was not that type of person. What I mean is, I simply did not want Devon to push or prod Ashley along with words. Whomever she lost her virginity to, I wanted Ashley to do it under her own free will. It had to be her decision - and no one else's. "Hello girls," I said, my voice tentative. Devon was nestled in close behind Ashley as both ladies sat upon the bed, her hands gently caressing her shoulders. I focused upon Devon. "So much for that talk you wanted to have..." "I thought you might like to join us," Devon purred, curling her neck and planting a simple kiss upon the side of Ashley's adorable face. Not surprisingly, the little blonde flushed red with a mixture of embarrassment and arousal. I focused my attention upon Ashley. I could tell that she had the proverbial butterflies in her stomach. Through her shyness and naive nature, though, there was a definite sense of excitement about her. No, I said inwardly. Devon had not gotten to her yet. Ashley was still a virgin. But for how long? "Would you like that, sweetheart?" I asked her. "Would you like to be with me and Devon right now?" The sheltered farm-girl from Oklahoma blushed red once again, but nodded her head in response. "Yes, I would." Devon was beaming. Absolutely beaming. "We have to go slow with her, Jeremy. Remember, she's still a virgin." "Most people don't lose their virginity in the middle of a three-some," I told Ashley, my voice soft and reassuring. "Are you sure that this is what you want to do?"
